How Does It Work?

Step 1 - Create Your Farm Storefront

Join Organic Ties to create a storefront for your CSA. Add a description about your CSA, state which farms are part of your CSA, what areas of the country you serve, link to applicable organic certifications, gain access to new customers, and simplify the marketing and payment processing.

Step 2 - Create Your Product Listing

CSAs can create product offerings that include a variety of different foods from different organic farms. When creating an assortment of goods please select the "Bundle" category when creating your new listing, outline the types of foods and estimated quantities that will be included in your bundle, set your price, add photos, note if they are fresh or frozen, and explain pickup or shipping options.

Step 3 - Set Your Pickup or Shipping Options

CSAs can offer whatever shipping or pickup options they're most comfortable with. If you have a set location and times that you typically hand your orders off to customers please outline that in your product description and profile page. Online marketplaces give you greater access to customers interested in your specialty products while simplifying their search, review, payment, and distribution process to grown your business and streamline the shopping experience.

How do shipping or pickup options work?

CSAs can offer whatever shipping or pickup options they're most comfortable with. Whether you require pickup at a certain farm, farmers market, or specific address during certain days and times, coordinating pickup or shipping options is at your discretion. Do I need to be Organic?

Yes. In order to market and sell goods on Organic Ties they need to be organic. CSAs are encouraged to share organic certifications from the farmers they source product from, and include any details around growing methods certifications on their profile pages.
